Senior Embedded Hardware Engineer responsible for designing, prototyping, and testing PCB solutions for robotic systems, driving end‑to‑end hardware development from concept through production.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end hardware design for robotic platforms, including schematic capture, PCB layout, and component selection.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate hardware performance and reliability.
- Represent electrical engineering in cross‑functional product and system design reviews, ensuring technical alignment.
- Collaborate with software and mechanical teams to integrate hardware with system architecture.
- Document design decisions, specifications, and test results for traceability and future reference.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in embedded hardware design for robotics or similar high‑reliability applications.
- Proficiency in schematic capture, PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium, KiCad), and component procurement.
- Strong understanding of signal integrity, power delivery, and thermal management.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
