About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor a cross‑functional team of electronics engineers, technicians, and designers in the development of mechatronic, mirror, and lighting solutions for automotive platforms.
- Oversee the full product lifecycle from concept through validation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
- Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and quality teams to optimize design for manufacturability, cost, and reliability.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging data analytics and lean principles to enhance process efficiency and product quality.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation, providing regular status updates to senior leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive electronics development with a proven track record of leading technical teams.
- Strong knowledge of embedded systems, PCB design, and automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay).
- Demonstrated expertise in project management, including Agile and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management skills.
