Electronics Engineer – SME role focused on designing and testing advanced electronic circuits for weapons and RDT&E programs, providing expert guidance on production engineering and technical data management.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Research, design, develop, and test electronic components and systems for commercial, industrial, military, and scientific applications.
- Lead circuit design and component selection for RDT&E and weapons system projects.
- Serve as subject matter expert for the Tomahawk AUR team, reviewing design work and providing engineering support.
- Analyze production engineering processes, recommend improvements, and support manufacturing readiness.
- Develop strategic recommendations for technical data management and execution of cross‑functional initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in circuit design, simulation, and testing for weapons or RDT&E environments.
- Strong knowledge of electronic theory, materials properties, and production engineering practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a virtual, part‑time capacity.
