About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, prototype, and validate high‑reliability electrical subsystems for space missions, ensuring compliance with stringent environmental and safety standards.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for RF, power, and signal integrity, including board‑level and system‑level verification.
- Create automated test rigs and scripts using Python and LabVIEW to capture, analyze, and report test data efficiently.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (mechanical, software, systems) to integrate electrical designs into larger spacecraft architectures.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts, root‑cause analysis, and corrective actions for hardware failures during development and qualification phases.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in aerospace or high‑reliability electronics testing and development.
- Proficiency in RF design, signal‑integrity analysis, and PCB layout tools (Altium, Cadence).
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with LabVIEW for test automation.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork abilities in a fast‑paced, mission‑critical environment.
