About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and validate electrical systems for hydroelectric turbines and generators, including power electronics and protection schemes.
- Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMI, and SCADA interfaces to monitor and control plant operations.
- Collaborate with mechanical, civil, and control teams to integrate electrical solutions into plant designs.
- Conduct feasibility studies, cost estimates, and risk assessments for electrical upgrades and new installations.
- Prepare detailed documentation, test plans, and commissioning reports to support project delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in power plant electrical design and automation.
- Proficiency with PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and SCADA/HMI platforms.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities in a multidisciplinary environment.
