Software Engineer
Design and develop electrical schematics and control systems for manufacturing equipment, create detailed documentation, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure reliable, compliant solutions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control system layouts using AutoCAD Electrical and industry standards.
- Program, test, and commission PLC and HMI solutions to meet functional and safety requirements.
- Produce and maintain accurate technical documentation, including bill of materials, test procedures, and as‑built records.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers, shop‑floor technicians, and field service teams to resolve design issues and support project execution.
- Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and compliance verification for regulated manufacturing environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience designing electrical systems for industrial or manufacturing applications.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical (or similar CAD tools) and PLC programming (Allen‑Bradley, Siemens, or equivalent).
- Strong ability to produce clear, concise technical documentation and drawings.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on delivering projects on schedule.
