Electrical Engineer - Security Devices - UL Solutions

Key Responsibilities

• Define project scope, develop preliminary investigation plans, and set specifications for cost, schedule, and sample requirements based on client input and product data.
• Coordinate on‑site visits and tests at client locations, ensuring accurate data collection and compliance with UL procedures.
• Serve as the primary client liaison, explaining technical details, UL requirements, and project benefits while negotiating timelines and sample needs.
• Track and follow up on client contacts, maintaining clear communication and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate new and existing services into project plans and deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with security device design, testing, and UL certification processes.
• Strong project management skills, including cost estimation and schedule development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client interaction.
• Ability to travel for client site visits as needed.
