About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Execute and lead short‑circuit, load‑flow, protective device coordination, grounding, arc‑flash, and power‑quality studies for utility‑scale solar and battery storage projects.
- Develop and maintain accurate system models, perform interconnection and collection‑system analyses, and produce detailed technical reports.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring on‑time delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Review and mentor junior engineers, providing guidance on study methodology and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional design teams to integrate power system studies into overall project design.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience with power system analysis tools (e.g., PSS®E, ETAP, PowerFactory).
- Strong knowledge of utility‑scale solar and battery storage interconnection standards.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and mentor junior staff.
