About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed electrical schematics, panel layouts, and power distribution designs for commercial buildings, data centers, and campus facilities.
- Produce construction documents using AutoCAD and Revit, ensuring compliance with NEC, IEC, and local building codes.
- Collaborate with mechanical, civil, and structural engineers to integrate electrical systems within multidisciplinary project teams.
- Perform load calculations, short‑circuit analysis, and coordination studies to optimize system performance and reliability.
- Support commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of PLC‑controlled equipment and building automation systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 3+ years of professional experience in building or data‑center design.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit for electrical drafting and BIM coordination.
- Strong knowledge of power distribution, grounding, lighting, and fire‑alarm systems, plus familiarity with NEC/IEC standards.
- Experience programming and troubleshooting PLCs and building automation controls.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to coordinate across multiple engineering disciplines.
