About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Arc Flash risk assessments and perform detailed calculations to determine arc flash boundaries and incident energy levels.
- Develop and maintain Arc Flash labels, safety signage, and PPE recommendations for electrical equipment.
- Design and analyze power distribution systems, ensuring compliance with NEC, IEEE, and OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate Arc Flash studies into project design and commissioning.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Arc Flash analysis and power system design.
- Proficiency with Arc Flash calculation software (e.g., ETAP, PowerFactory) and Microsoft Office.
- Strong knowledge of NEC, IEEE, and OSHA electrical safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
