Systems Engineer
Electrical & Automation Systems Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining industrial control systems using PLCs, SCADA, and HMI technologies to optimize plant operations and ensure safety compliance.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI applications for production lines.
- Integrate SCADA systems with industrial Ethernet networks to provide real‑time monitoring and data acquisition.
- Collaborate with process engineers to translate functional specifications into reliable electrical schematics.
- Conduct root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions for automation faults.
- Document system designs, test procedures, and maintenance manuals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in industrial automation, PLC programming (Siemens, Allen‑Bradley, or similar).
- Proficiency with SCADA platforms (e.g., Ignition, Wonderware) and HMI configuration.
- Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols (PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, Modbus).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
