Software Engineer
Lead the design, implementation, and support of EHS IT solutions, leveraging data analytics, SQL, Power BI, and Python to drive safety compliance and operational insight.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain EHS software platforms (e.g., SAP EHS, custom applications) to support regulatory compliance and incident management.
- Develop dashboards and reports in Power BI to provide actionable safety and environmental metrics to stakeholders.
- Write and optimize SQL queries and Python scripts for data extraction, transformation, and analysis across multiple data sources.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (EHS, IT, Operations) to gather requirements, define data models, and ensure seamless integration of EHS data into enterprise systems.
- Lead troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis for system issues, providing timely resolutions and continuous improvement recommendations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience implementing and supporting EHS IT solutions, preferably with SAP EHS.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools such as Power BI.
- Hands‑on experience with Python for data manipulation and automation.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
