Early Career Water Resources Engineer - Geosyntec Consultants, Inc.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute hydrologic and hydraulic models (HEC‑RAS, HEC‑FLOW) for floodplain and drainage studies.
• Prepare GIS‑based spatial analyses and maps to support project design and regulatory submissions.
• Conduct environmental impact assessments and prepare technical reports for client and regulatory review.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate water resources solutions into broader project deliverables.
• Assist in client presentations, field data collection, and quality assurance of engineering deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering.
• Proficiency in HEC‑RAS, HEC‑FLOW, and GIS software (ArcGIS/ArcGIS Pro).
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret hydrologic data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical reporting.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and grow in a consulting environment.
