As a Junior Cloud Engineer, you will build foundational experience supporting cloud infrastructure and services that help our clients improve the health and well-being of the members they serve. This role is ideal for someone eager to grow technical skills in AWS and Azure, collaborate with experienced teams, and contribute to solutions that address important healthcare challenges.

Your role in our mission

Essential Job Functions

• Assist with deploying, monitoring, and maintaining cloud solutions in AWS and Azure.
• Support cloud infrastructure operations, including user access, basic networking, storage, and virtual compute resources.
• Participate in backup, recovery, and disaster recovery activities under the guidance of senior team members.
• Troubleshoot routine cloud infrastructure issues and escalate complex problems when needed.
• Assist in implementing infrastructure as code and automation using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Help monitor system performance, security, and compliance in cloud environments.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to support environment setup, maintenance, and issue resolution.
• Document procedures, configurations, and support activities to promote knowledge sharing and operational consistency.
• Learn and apply cloud best practices while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

What we're looking for

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Foundational knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Cloud fundamentals and basic disaster recovery concepts
• Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation exposure
• AWS or Azure services such as EC2, IAM, storage, networking, or virtual machines
• Windows or Linux systems administration fundamentals
• Cloud certification or progress toward certification is a plus
