Systems Engineer
Design and implement DSP and wireless communication solutions for a low‑Earth‑orbit satellite network, leveraging C/C++, Python and MATLAB to deliver high‑performance, reliable internet connectivity.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize digital signal processing algorithms for LEO satellite payloads and ground stations.
- Design, simulate, and validate wireless communication links, including RF front‑end and modulation/demodulation schemes.
- Implement firmware and software components in C/C++ and Python for real‑time signal processing on embedded platforms.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate DSP solutions into the satellite system architecture and ensure compliance with performance and reliability targets.
- Conduct testing, debugging, and performance analysis using MATLAB, Simulink, and hardware‑in‑the‑loop environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field with strong foundation in DSP and wireless communications.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and Python programming for embedded and signal‑processing applications.
- Experience with MATLAB/Simulink for algorithm development and system simulation.
- Knowledge of satellite communication concepts, RF link budgets, and LEO constellation characteristics.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment and obtain required export control clearances.
