About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and validate DSP algorithms for optical frontend components in high‑speed transceivers.
- Model and simulate electrical and optical behavior of fiber‑optic systems using MATLAB and related tools.
- Analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks, and propose design improvements.
- Collaborate with hardware and firmware teams to integrate DSP solutions into silicon prototypes.
- Document design decisions, simulation results, and performance metrics for internal reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Photonics, or related field.
- Strong background in DSP and optical communication theory.
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink for modeling and simulation.
- Experience with fiber‑optic system design and performance analysis.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced startup environment.
