Backend Engineer
Experienced Drupal Backend Developer (4‑6 years) to design, develop, and maintain custom Drupal 9/10/11 modules and scalable web applications, leveraging strong PHP fundamentals and modern web technologies.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain custom Drupal modules to meet complex business requirements.
- Build, upgrade, and support Drupal 9, 10, and 11 sites, ensuring performance, security, and scalability.
- Integrate third‑party services and APIs using RESTful endpoints and custom code.
- Collaborate with front‑end developers to implement responsive UI components using JavaScript and CSS frameworks.
- Maintain code quality through version control (Git), code reviews, and automated testing.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of professional experience developing on Drupal, with deep knowledge of Drupal architecture and hook system.
- Strong proficiency in PHP and familiarity with MySQL database design and optimization.
- Hands‑on experience creating custom modules, themes, and using Drupal’s configuration management.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and integrating external services.
- Good understanding of front‑end technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS) and version control workflows (Git).
