Engineering Manager
Leads global IT transformation and operations for a multi‑site organization, overseeing infrastructure, cybersecurity, data and applications while coordinating regional teams and multiple managed service providers.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute a unified IT strategy that supports scalable growth and data‑driven decision making across all business units.
- Oversee global infrastructure, cybersecurity, and application portfolios, ensuring reliability, security, and performance.
- Manage regional IT teams in Europe and China, providing guidance, governance, and alignment with corporate objectives.
- Coordinate and govern relationships with multiple Managed Service Providers to deliver consistent service levels and cost efficiency.
- Drive standardization and consolidation of fragmented IT environments through process improvement, automation, and cloud migration initiatives.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience in large, geographically dispersed organizations.
- Proven expertise in IT strategy, cloud platforms, cybersecurity frameworks, and data management.
- Strong vendor and MSP management skills with a track record of negotiating and overseeing complex contracts.
- Excellent influencing and governance abilities, capable of leading cross‑functional teams without direct authority.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CISSP, AWS/Azure) are preferred.
