QA Engineer
Senior engineer focused on implementing, testing, and maintaining SCADA and distribution automation equipment, with expertise in DNP3, RTU programming, and communications infrastructure.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot the cooperative’s OSI SCADA system hardware and software.
- Design, modify, and maintain databases, XML, and C code for SCADA implementation and troubleshooting.
- Develop and support communications systems for DA equipment, including DNP3 over IP, serial, 900 MHz, and cellular links.
- Program and maintain RTUs, ensuring reliable data acquisition and control.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate new automation solutions and resolve field issues.
Requirements
- Proven experience with SCADA systems and OSI protocols.
- Strong programming skills in C and familiarity with XML configuration.
- Hands‑on knowledge of DNP3, RTU programming, and industrial communications.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with field and engineering teams.
