About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement end‑to‑end machine learning pipelines focused on safety, from data ingestion and feature engineering to model training, evaluation, and deployment.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define safety metrics, develop risk mitigation strategies, and continuously improve model performance in production.
- Design scalable, cloud‑native solutions (AWS/GCP) that support real‑time inference for millions of concurrent users.
- Lead research initiatives on novel safety algorithms, including reinforcement learning and adversarial robustness, and translate findings into production‑ready features.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and champion best practices in model governance and reproducibility.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in machine learning engineering with a strong focus on safety or content moderation.
- Proficiency in Python, deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), and cloud deployment tools.
- Deep understanding of data engineering principles, large‑scale data pipelines, and performance optimization.
- Experience with model monitoring, A/B testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) for ML.
- Excellent communication skills and a proven track record of leading high‑impact projects.
