About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a distributed security engineering team, setting vision and strategy for enterprise-wide security initiatives.
- Design, implement, and maintain secure cloud architectures on AWS, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Drive incident response and threat hunting programs, coordinating cross‑functional teams to mitigate risks and reduce mean time to recovery.
- Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps), automating vulnerability scanning, code analysis, and compliance checks.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations to embed security requirements early in the development lifecycle.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in security engineering, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Deep expertise in AWS security services, network segmentation, IAM, and encryption.
- Proficiency in Python for automation, scripting, and tooling.
- Strong background in incident response, threat modeling, and vulnerability management.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders across technical and non‑technical domains.
