About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the overall quality assurance strategy for multiple software products, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Build, mentor, and lead a cross‑functional QA team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks (e.g., Selenium) and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines to accelerate release cycles.
- Collaborate with product, development, and DevOps teams to embed quality practices throughout the Agile development lifecycle.
- Establish metrics, reporting mechanisms, and governance processes to monitor product quality, defect trends, and test coverage.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive QA experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing complex, regulated software systems.
- Proven expertise in test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, or similar) and scripting languages (Java, Python, or JavaScript).
- Strong background in Agile/Scrum environments and hands‑on experience with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, CSQA) a plus.
