Director, Product - Data & Insights - ThermoFisher Scientific

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the product vision for data, analytics, and AI solutions supporting clinical research workflows.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to design, build, and launch scalable digital platforms that enable real‑time data integration and insight generation.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team of data scientists, engineers, and product managers to deliver machine‑learning models and advanced analytics that improve study efficiency and outcomes.
• Prioritize roadmap initiatives based on market trends, stakeholder feedback, and regulatory considerations, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Establish metrics, reporting frameworks, and governance processes to monitor product performance and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 10+ years of product leadership experience in data‑intensive environments, preferably within life sciences, healthcare, or clinical research.
• Strong expertise in data science, machine learning, and AI technologies, with hands‑on experience building and deploying analytical solutions.
• Proven track record of delivering digital platforms or SaaS products from concept to market, including agile development and user‑centric design.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts into business value.
• Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Bioinformatics, or related discipline.
