Data Scientist
Lead an oncology data science team to discover, validate, and implement multimodal biomarkers using real‑world molecular data, clinical trial information, and advanced analytics pipelines.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and oversee end‑to‑end biomarker discovery projects across genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, and imaging data.
- Integrate proprietary and public real‑world datasets with clinical trial data to generate actionable insights for oncology pipelines.
- Develop and deploy machine‑learning models and statistical pipelines in cloud environments to support hypothesis testing and validation.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional scientific, clinical, and regulatory teams to translate findings into clinical development strategies.
- Mentor and grow a multidisciplinary data science team, establishing best practices for reproducibility, data governance, and scalability.
Requirements
- PhD or equivalent experience in computational biology, bioinformatics, statistics, or a related field.
- 10+ years of hands‑on experience with Python or R for large‑scale omics and clinical data analysis.
- Proven track record applying machine‑learning and statistical modeling to biomarker discovery in oncology.
- Strong expertise in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) and containerized workflow orchestration.
- Excellent communication skills and experience leading cross‑functional scientific collaborations.
