Engineering Manager
Strategic technology leader responsible for designing, securing, and scaling the firm’s IT infrastructure, overseeing cloud services, cybersecurity, vendor relationships, and cross‑functional technology initiatives.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute a multi‑year technology roadmap that aligns with business growth objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Lead the design, migration, and optimization of cloud environments (primarily AWS) to ensure high availability, performance, and cost efficiency.
- Establish and enforce robust cybersecurity policies, incident response procedures, and compliance frameworks to protect client data.
- Manage relationships with third‑party vendors, negotiate contracts, and oversee service delivery to meet SLA expectations.
- Direct cross‑functional IT projects, coordinating with advisors, operations, and client service teams to deliver technology solutions on time and within budget.
- Build and mentor a high‑performing IT team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior technology management role.
- Proven expertise in cloud architecture (AWS), cybersecurity best practices, and enterprise IT infrastructure.
- Strong project and program management skills, including experience with Agile/DevOps methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to manage vendor relationships and negotiate complex contracts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; advanced certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, CISSP) preferred.
