Engineering Manager
Lead the design, development, and scaling of enterprise data platforms and products, driving data strategy, architecture, and analytics excellence across the organization.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the technical vision for data platforms, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance across cloud and on‑prem environments.
- Lead cross‑functional teams of data engineers, data scientists, and product managers to deliver high‑impact data products that enable business insights.
- Architect and maintain data pipelines, lakehouse solutions, and analytics services, leveraging modern big‑data technologies and best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust data solutions, prioritizing features and roadmaps.
- Establish governance, security, and compliance frameworks for data assets, ensuring data quality and regulatory adherence.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering, platform architecture, or related technical leadership roles.
- Proven track record building and scaling cloud‑native data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and big‑data ecosystems (Spark, Flink, Kafka).
- Strong product sense with experience delivering data‑driven products to internal or external customers.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Hands‑on expertise in SQL, Python, and modern data stack tools.
