About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the technical roadmap for conference technology platform integrations, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
- Lead a multidisciplinary engineering team, fostering Agile practices, continuous delivery, and a culture of innovation.
- Architect and develop cloud‑native microservices on AWS, leveraging Java, RESTful APIs, and event‑driven patterns.
- Collaborate with product, UX, and operations stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Establish engineering standards, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring frameworks to maintain high quality and rapid release cycles.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Deep expertise in Java, microservices architecture, and AWS cloud services.
- Proven track record designing and integrating complex APIs and event‑driven systems.
- Strong Agile leadership skills, including team building, mentorship, and delivery management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
