Software Engineer
Lead the design and execution of advanced analytics for revenue optimization, driving predictive and prescriptive insights across all revenue streams using Python, SQL, and AWS-based data science solutions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain end‑to‑end Revenue Management Systems (RMS) that deliver real‑time pricing, inventory, and demand forecasts.
- Apply machine learning and statistical models to forecast demand, optimize pricing, and maximize revenue across all channels.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business objectives into data‑driven solutions and actionable insights.
- Lead data engineering efforts, ensuring high‑quality data pipelines, robust ETL processes, and scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership, translating complex analytics into clear, strategic guidance.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in revenue analytics, data science, or related fields, with a proven track record in the travel or hospitality industry.
- Expertise in Python, SQL, and AWS services (S3, Redshift, SageMaker, Lambda).
- Strong background in machine learning, predictive modeling, and prescriptive analytics.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence decision‑makers at all levels.
- Experience with large‑scale data pipelines, cloud architecture, and performance optimization.
