What You’ll Do:
As the Director of Platforms, you will own the strategy, performance, and evolution of the technology platforms that power our pre-employment and volunteer background screening services. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team responsible for the operation, optimization, and modernization of our three primary screening delivery platforms - driving reliability, scalability, compliance, and a best-in-class candidate and customer experience. A central focus of this role is developing and executing the multi-year platform consolidation and migration strategy that unifies our screening capabilities, reduces operational complexity, and accelerates product innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Own the end-to-end strategy and roadmap for our three primary background screening delivery platforms, balancing day-to-day reliability with long-term modernization
Develop and execute a multi-year platform consolidation and migration strategy; defining the target-state architecture, phasing, customer migration playbooks, success metrics, and risk mitigation plans
Lead cross-functional execution of platform migrations in partnership with Product, Engineering, Operations, Compliance, Relationship Management, and Sales, ensuring zero-disruption transitions for customers, candidates, and integration partners
Set and govern platform KPIs across availability, throughput, turnaround time, error rates, cost-to-serve, and compliance posture; report platform health to executive leadership on a regular cadence
Partner with Engineering and Product leadership to prioritize platform investments including data model unification, API standardization, ATS/HCM integration parity, and automation of fulfillment workflows
Champion an FCRA-, EEOC-, and state-CRA-compliant operating model across all platforms, partnering with Legal and Compliance on data retention, dispute handling, adverse action workflows, and audit readiness
Define and operationalize platform SLAs and incident response standards; lead post-incident reviews and drive continuous-improvement initiatives that reduce manual touch and rework
Manage vendor and supplier relationships for data sources, infrastructure, and third-party screening compo
