About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and oversee the end‑to‑end development of a scalable, secure platform on AWS, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Lead a cross‑functional engineering team, setting technical direction, code quality standards, and best practices for microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with product, data, and security teams to translate business requirements into robust, maintainable solutions.
- Drive continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring to accelerate release cycles.
- Mentor senior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, knowledge sharing, and professional growth.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with 5+ years in a leadership role.
- Deep expertise in AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, ECS/EKS) and container orchestration.
- Proficient in Python and experience building large‑scale microservices.
- Strong background in CI/CD, automated testing, and observability tools.
- Excellent communication skills and a proven track record of scaling engineering teams.
