About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary hardware engineering team, setting technical direction and fostering a culture of excellence.
- Define and enforce best‑in‑class hardware standards, development practices, and quality processes for neuromonitoring devices.
- Architect and oversee the design of embedded systems, FPGA/ASIC solutions, and PCB layouts to meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate closely with software, product, and clinical teams to translate clinical needs into robust hardware specifications.
- Drive cross‑functional project timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation to ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery.
Requirements
- 10+ years of hardware engineering experience, with a proven track record in medical device or high‑reliability systems.
- Deep expertise in embedded systems, FPGA/ASIC design, and PCB layout, including signal integrity and power management.
- Strong leadership skills with experience building and scaling engineering teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Knowledge of medical device regulations (FDA, CE) and quality systems (ISO 13485) is highly desirable.
