The Role & Team:
The Director of Engineering is accountable for successful delivery, technical integrity, and people leadership of the VistaView and Enterprise CX Intelligence solutions. The role ensures that approved product initiatives are delivered on time, within agreed scope and quality standards, while safeguarding domain architectural coherence and long-term sustainability.
The purpose of the role is to translate product strategy and roadmap commitments into predictable engineering outcomes. This requires balancing short-term delivery objectives with long-term system health, ensuring that technical debt is actively managed and that engineering practices support scalability, security, and maintainability. The Engineering Manager is responsible for creating the conditions under which the team can consistently perform at a high level, combining structured execution, balancing continuous improvement with the need for transforming ways of working to capture benefits from new disruptive technologies such as AI.
Success in this role is measured by delivery predictability, product quality, operational stability, and the development of a capable and engaged engineering team. The Engineering Manager serves as the primary owner of outcomes within the assigned domain and acts as the escalation point for material risks related to scope, capacity, quality, or architectural sustainability. The engineering organization utilizes several shared components and collaboration with other engineering managers on operational excellence and shared platforms is essential.
