About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the technical vision and roadmap for a cloud‑based clinical research platform serving thousands of sites worldwide.
- Lead, mentor, and scale multiple engineering squads, fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Architect, design, and oversee implementation of scalable, secure services on AWS using micro‑services, Kubernetes, and serverless patterns.
- Establish robust CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring to ensure high availability and rapid release cycles.
- Partner with product, data science, and compliance teams to translate regulatory and business requirements into reliable software solutions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS), container orchestration (Kubernetes), and modern backend stacks (Python, Node.js).
- Proven track record delivering large‑scale, regulated SaaS products in the life‑sciences or healthcare domain.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD, automated testing, security best practices, and Agile delivery frameworks.
- Excellent communication and people‑management skills, with a passion for mentoring engineers and building high‑performing teams.
