Engineering Manager
Lead enterprise data strategy, scale data platform, and deliver high‑quality data products for health plan performance using healthcare data, data architecture, and cloud technologies.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the data strategy for the organization, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of a scalable data platform that ingests, cleans, and integrates claims, enrollment, clinical, SDoH, and provider data.
- Oversee data governance, quality, and security programs, establishing standards, policies, and best practices across the data ecosystem.
- Collaborate with analytics, product, and engineering teams to deliver actionable insights and data products that drive cost optimization and performance improvements.
- Manage a high‑performing data team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and professional growth.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering, architecture, or analytics within the healthcare industry.
- Deep expertise in healthcare data domains (claims, enrollment, clinical, SDoH, provider) and related regulations (HIPAA, HITECH).
- Proficiency with SQL, Python, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for data processing and analytics.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of building and scaling data teams and platforms.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, capable of translating complex data concepts into business value.
