Engineering Manager
Leads data engineering, reporting, and governance to turn health‑care data into actionable insights for value‑based care, overseeing strategy, architecture, and analytics delivery across the organization.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute an enterprise data and analytics roadmap that supports value‑based care, population health, and financial performance goals.
- Build and oversee scalable data engineering pipelines, data warehouses, and cloud infrastructure (AWS) to ensure reliable, secure, and high‑quality data.
- Establish and enforce data governance, security, and compliance frameworks, guaranteeing data trustworthiness and regulatory adherence.
- Partner with senior leadership and operational teams to translate business needs into analytical solutions, dashboards, and predictive models.
- Lead a multidisciplinary analytics team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, agile delivery, and professional development.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or business intelligence, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven expertise in Python, SQL, and cloud platforms (AWS) for building ETL pipelines and data warehouses.
- Strong background in data governance, security, and compliance within regulated industries, preferably health care.
- Experience delivering visual analytics and reporting solutions using tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior executives and drive data‑centric decision making.
