About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the cloud engineering roadmap across AWS, Azure, and hybrid environments to support business growth and reliability goals.
- Architect, implement, and optimize scalable, secure, and cost‑effective cloud solutions using Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Lead a high‑performing engineering team, fostering a culture of automation, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.
- Collaborate with product, data, and security teams to integrate AI/ML services and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Establish governance, monitoring, and incident‑response processes to maintain service availability and performance.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in cloud engineering or architecture, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Deep expertise in AWS and Azure services, container orchestration (Kubernetes), and infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform).
- Proven track record delivering large‑scale, mission‑critical platforms using DevOps practices and CI/CD automation.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree or certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect) preferred.
