Software Engineer
Strategic leader responsible for enterprise-wide data governance and stewardship, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and accessibility of commercial, operational, and administrative data assets across the organization.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute a comprehensive data governance framework for customer, product, vendor, employee, and financial data.
- Lead cross‑functional data stewardship initiatives to maintain data quality, lineage, and compliance.
- Design and maintain master data management (MDM) processes and data models that support business operations and analytics.
- Collaborate with IT, finance, sales, and operations to align data policies with strategic objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee data access controls, security standards, and audit trails within cloud and on‑premise environments.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data governance, data stewardship, or related data management roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
- Proven expertise in master data management, data quality frameworks, and data modeling using SQL and modern data platforms.
- Strong knowledge of cloud data services (e.g., AWS, Azure) and experience implementing governance controls in cloud environments.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills to drive consensus across diverse business units.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
