Engineering Manager
Lead the AI/ML strategy for a private‑market dealmaking platform, driving product innovation, model development, and cross‑functional collaboration using Python, AWS, and advanced NLP techniques.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the AI/ML roadmap to enhance deal sourcing, valuation, and market intelligence capabilities.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of data scientists, engineers, and analysts in building, deploying, and scaling production‑grade machine learning models.
- Architect end‑to‑end data pipelines on AWS, ensuring robust data ingestion, transformation, and feature engineering for large‑scale financial datasets.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to translate market needs into AI‑driven product features and measurable outcomes.
- Establish best practices for model governance, monitoring, and continuous improvement, including bias mitigation and performance tracking.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience designing and deploying machine learning solutions in a B2B or financial services environment.
- Strong proficiency in Python and its ML ecosystem (e.g., scikit‑learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch, pandas).
- Deep knowledge of AWS services for data processing and model deployment (SageMaker, Lambda, Redshift, S3).
- Proven ability to lead technical teams, mentor engineers, and drive cross‑functional projects from concept to production.
- Experience with NLP techniques applied to unstructured financial documents and market data is highly desirable.
