Software Engineer
Lead the Model Risk Management function for AI and Generative AI initiatives, overseeing model validation, governance, and regulatory compliance to ensure robust, trustworthy AI solutions across the organization.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a high‑performing Model Risk Management team focused on AI and Generative AI models.
- Design and implement model validation frameworks, ensuring accuracy, robustness, and compliance with industry regulations.
- Collaborate with data science, product, and engineering teams to embed risk controls into the AI model development lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain model risk documentation, audit trails, and reporting for senior leadership and external regulators.
- Drive continuous improvement of model risk policies, procedures, and tooling, leveraging cloud platforms and automation.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in model risk management, with a strong focus on AI/ML and Generative AI.
- Deep knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., Basel, FFIEC, GDPR) and model governance best practices.
- Proficiency in model validation techniques, statistical analysis, and data governance.
- Experience leading cross‑functional teams and communicating complex risk concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and project management skills.
