Lead the technical strategy for a primary‑care platform’s Interventions pillar, driving early diagnosis, longitudinal care, and preventive screening using Python, Node.js, AWS, and ML to improve patient outcomes and reduce costs.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the technical roadmap for early diagnosis, longitudinal care management, preventive screening, and member treatment within the Interventions pillar.
- Architect scalable, secure APIs and data pipelines using Python, Node.js, and AWS services to support real‑time clinical decision support.
- Lead a cross‑functional engineering team, fostering agile practices, code quality, and continuous delivery.
- Collaborate with product, data science, and clinical teams to integrate machine‑learning models that predict disease progression and recommend interventions.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, HITECH) and implement robust security and privacy controls.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, with 5+ years in a leadership role within healthcare or health‑tech.
- Proven expertise in Python, Node.js, AWS (Lambda, ECS, RDS, S3), and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Strong background in API design, microservices architecture, and DevOps practices.
- Experience building compliant, secure systems for patient data and clinical workflows.
- Excellent communication skills and a track record of driving high‑impact projects from concept to production.
