Software Engineer
Lead the Interventions engineering team to build scalable cloud services, data pipelines, and ML models that enable early diagnosis and treatment for chronic conditions, driving improved patient outcomes and cost efficiency.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a cross‑functional engineering team focused on the Interventions pillar, ensuring high quality, scalable, and secure solutions.
- Architect and deliver cloud‑native backend services, data pipelines, and ML models that identify and triage patient conditions early.
- Collaborate with product, data science, and clinical teams to translate healthcare requirements into technical specifications.
- Drive continuous integration, continuous delivery, and automated testing practices to accelerate feature delivery.
- Champion best practices in security, compliance, and data privacy within the healthcare domain.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with 5+ years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record building and scaling cloud‑based services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong background in backend development (Java, Python, Go) and data engineering (SQL, Spark, Kafka).
- Experience deploying ML models in production and managing model lifecycle.
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for improving patient care through technology.
