Software Engineer
Lead the engineering organization for a high‑growth commerce platform, driving scalable architecture, cloud operations, and cross‑functional delivery using AWS, microservices, and modern JavaScript stacks.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the technical vision for the commerce platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance at scale.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high‑performing engineering team, fostering a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
- Architect and maintain cloud‑native services on AWS, leveraging microservices, containerization, and serverless where appropriate.
- Drive end‑to‑end delivery through robust CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and rigorous code quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and data teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions that enhance customer experience.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record building and scaling commerce or e‑commerce platforms.
- Deep expertise in AWS, microservices architecture, and modern JavaScript (Node.js, React).
- Strong background in CI/CD, automated testing, and cloud security best practices.
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for mentoring and developing engineering talent.
