About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with business objectives and supports AI-driven decision making.
- Lead cross‑functional teams in designing, building, and deploying scalable data pipelines, machine learning models, and analytics dashboards.
- Partner with stakeholders to identify high‑impact use cases, prioritize projects, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Oversee data governance, quality, security, and compliance initiatives across cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
- Mentor and grow a high‑performing data science and engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data strategy, analytics, or AI leadership roles.
- Proven track record delivering end‑to‑end data solutions using Python, SQL, and cloud services.
- Strong knowledge of machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and model deployment best practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
- Experience in the environmental or industrial services sector is a plus.
