About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Strategically lead and mentor a multidisciplinary data science team, setting vision and execution for analytics projects that support global legal and professional services.
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable machine learning models and data pipelines using Python, SQL, and AWS services to extract insights from large, complex datasets.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to translate business challenges into data‑driven solutions and measurable outcomes.
- Champion best practices in data governance, model validation, and reproducibility, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Drive continuous improvement of analytical tools, frameworks, and processes to enhance efficiency and impact across the organization.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or related fields, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and AWS cloud services; experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Strong background in data engineering, model deployment, and performance optimization.
- Excellent communication skills, able to translate complex technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to manage cross‑functional teams and deliver high‑impact projects on schedule.
