About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a cross‑functional data science team to develop and deploy risk adjustment models that improve member health outcomes and cost predictions.
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines and analytics workflows using Python, SQL, and AWS services.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and clinical teams to translate business requirements into robust statistical models and actionable insights.
- Drive continuous improvement of model performance through rigorous validation, experimentation, and A/B testing.
- Communicate complex findings to senior stakeholders, translating technical results into clear business recommendations.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data science or analytics, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
- Deep expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, and risk adjustment techniques.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- Strong background in data engineering, pipeline design, and large‑scale data processing.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
