Data Scientist
Lead the transformation of a growing data science practice into a production‑grade engineering discipline, driving scalable ML pipelines, model deployment, and cross‑functional collaboration across Claims, Underwriting, and Risk Management.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement end‑to‑end ML pipelines that support production‑grade model delivery across multiple business domains.
- Define and enforce best practices for data quality, feature engineering, model validation, and monitoring.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and analytics teams to translate business problems into scalable data science solutions.
- Mentor and grow a high‑performing data science team, fostering a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement.
- Champion the adoption of cloud services (AWS) and modern tooling to enable rapid model iteration and deployment.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data science or machine learning engineering, with a proven track record of scaling ML operations.
- Deep expertise in Python, SQL, and cloud platforms (AWS, SageMaker, or equivalent).
- Strong background in data engineering, feature store design, and model monitoring.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders across technical and business functions.
- Experience leading cross‑functional teams and driving a data‑driven culture.
