About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the data science strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of data scientists, analysts, and engineers in building predictive models and advanced analytics solutions.
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable machine‑learning pipelines using Python, R, and SQL on cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Collaborate with product, underwriting, and finance stakeholders to translate analytical insights into actionable recommendations.
- Establish best practices for data governance, model validation, and performance monitoring.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data science or advanced analytics, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL; hands‑on experience with AWS services (SageMaker, Redshift, S3) and containerization.
- Demonstrated success delivering production‑grade machine‑learning models and data‑driven products.
- Strong communication skills to convey complex analytical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
- Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
