About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and oversee end‑to‑end agentic AI systems that accelerate insight generation across clinical, translational, and regulatory workflows.
- Define the AI strategy for the organization, aligning with global drug development objectives and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Mentor and grow a high‑performing data science team, fostering a culture of experimentation, reproducibility, and continuous learning.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable AI solutions and measurable impact.
- Champion data‑driven decision making, establishing best practices for model governance, validation, and deployment.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or AI, with a proven track record in a life‑sciences or pharmaceutical environment.
- Deep expertise in agentic AI, reinforcement learning, or related advanced ML techniques.
- Strong understanding of clinical development, translational research, and regulatory processes.
- Demonstrated leadership in building and scaling data science teams.
- Excellent communication skills, able to translate complex technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
