Software Engineer
Leads the Data Product Centre of Excellence, defining standards, operating models and toolkits to deliver trusted, interoperable, AI‑ready data products that accelerate analytics and decision‑making across the organization.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and champion the enterprise vision for AI‑ready data products, creating a reusable playbook and operating model for a federated data community.
- Design and implement governance frameworks that ensure data trust, interoperability, discoverability, and compliance across multiple domains.
- Collaborate with data engineers, scientists, and product owners to build scalable, cloud‑native data pipelines and toolkits that accelerate analytics and AI initiatives.
- Mentor and lead a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and data‑driven decision making.
- Measure and communicate the business impact of data products, translating technical outcomes into strategic value for senior leadership.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data strategy, data product management, or related fields, with a proven track record of delivering enterprise‑scale data solutions.
- Deep expertise in data governance, metadata management, and building interoperable data ecosystems.
- Strong technical background in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), data engineering, and programming languages such as Python.
- Demonstrated leadership ability to influence cross‑functional teams and drive adoption of standards and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts into clear business value.
