Lead enterprise-wide data engineering initiatives, building scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to enable AI-driven analytics for 70,000+ users, while partnering with senior leadership to define strategy and measure impact.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and oversee the end‑to‑end data platform that supports AI and analytics workloads across the enterprise.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of data engineers and scientists, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Architect scalable, secure, and cost‑effective data pipelines using technologies such as Apache Spark, Airflow, and cloud services (AWS).
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and leadership to translate business goals into data solutions and measurable outcomes.
- Establish best practices for data modeling, governance, and quality to ensure reliable, trusted data for decision‑making.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering or data science, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Deep expertise in Python, SQL, and big‑data processing frameworks (e.g., Spark, Flink).
- Proven track record building and operating cloud‑native data pipelines on AWS (or comparable platforms).
- Strong understanding of data modeling, warehousing, and governance principles.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders in ambiguous, fast‑moving environments.
